I have known Lauren Ostrow for over 25 years. We were first introduced when she designed my parent’s home in Harrison, NY. The best testimony to that project is the fact that the vast majority of the pieces she selected back then are still in use and as beautiful and functional as they were that many years ago!

Since that time, Lauren has helped us design our apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We have been working on our place over the past few years, making improvements as we go along and Lauren has always been extremely flexible and willing to work with us in any way we needed. We have two young children which always makes design challenging! Lauren has been attuned to their needs for now and also has given us excellent advice for the future as they grow. The number of compliments we receive from our friends are testimony to Lauren’s great taste.

What I have loved most about working with Lauren is that she maintains the perfect balance of clearly providing her professional opinions while taking our style and tastes into account. Lauren is also incredibly responsive, no matter how small the request. Lauren is always 100% “on the job” – I’m not sure she actually sleeps!
